
Some users claim to get an email entitled "The Facebook Confirmation", in the fake email. Like that was launched by security company MX blogs Labs, Thursday (29/10/2009), see the email address written service@facebook.com. However, the manager admitted that Facebook is a fake email address.
In addition, MX Labs found that the email was accompanied by an attachment "Facebook_Password_4cf91.zip" and "Facebook_Password_4cf91.exe", which contains the information if there is a new Facebook password. When users download a file, a Trojan virus which has inserted Bredolab steal files directly through the Internet, such as anti-spyware fake.
"Email is sent with the attachment of the virus infiltrated. Perbah Facebook does not send the new password as an attachment. We hope that users can be careful," explained Facebook.
